Fulfilling The Need Of Additional Power By Using Poe Injector

Power over Ethernet (Poe) was originally developed to provide electrical power and network data capability over standard Ethernet cabling to locations where AC power would be inconvenient, expensive or infeasible to install.

Even in situations where AC power is feasible, PoE offers some additional advantages. It can be used with various other equipments like Rugged Keypad and Access control keypad as it is compatible with them.

PoE is simple to set up and because it operates at low voltage it does not require an electrician to install. Another benefit is the fact that data and power are combined on a single cable, which reduces cabling requirements. In most cases, existing network infrastructure can be used.

The flexibility that is offered by PoE by combining network signal and power into a single Ethernet cable makes it a highly desirable attribute in today’s market.

Poe Injector is designed to be used in-line with the Ethernet cable to provide power to a single device and would suit an application where there aren’t enough PoE devices to warrant the cost of a PoE switch, or if the data needs to be transmitted a long distance (e.g. via fiber) first, before being converted back to
Ethernet, and then PoE applied.

The reason that Poe technology is so flexible and compatible with most devices including the Network Keypad makes it worthy of being called as an essential part of IT solutions services. In fact, it is so useful that a complicated device like Metal Keypad can also be used with Poe injector to provide it with electrical power.
